Knitters Needed for Moon Palace!
When Moon Palace, the mobile observatory, takes to the road the nights will be drawing in. We know from experience that it can be pretty chilly when you’re gazing at the night sky. So the Moon Palace Team need your help keeping everyone warm.
Whether you’re a speedy knitter who can watch TV while clicking away or a newbie who has to uncramp their fingers at the end of each row (crochet fans you’re welcome too), we’d love it if you could help supply the bus with the following items in hot pink/sunshine yellow/aqua/peach and in a range of sizes from kids to grown ups.
Scarves
Hats with bobbles
Slippers with bobbles
Jumpers with planets (ambitious we know)
Patterns, wool and needles can be provided on request.
Finished items can be dropped off to Kerry and Claire at East Leeds Project who are based at Fearnville Leisure Centre and if you want to join a community knit-in then you can head along to the leisure centre on 26th July from 9.30am – 3pm
